Damn Good Burger at Minetta Tavern

If you ever read about this place from any of the big players in the food blogging world, you will find unbelievably great reviews. Don’t fret, it will not over hype the Black Label Burger one bit.
I strolled in right before they opened and sat at the bar. Order the Roasted Bone Marrow and of course, the Black Label Burger. The meat is made from their Côte de Boeuf, which is a steak that they get exclusively from their vendor due to their “special relationship”. WHooOHooo, feeling kinda cool and exclusive here! Thanks Richie!
SOoOoO, I typically eat my burgers with ketchup and sometimes mayo, but I ate this AS IS! (half of a 9 ounce burger in maybe less than a minute)
The ketchup would have totally ruined the taste and the burger all together. THAT is how damn good the burger is. I’m hesitant to say that it’s the best burger I have ever had only because I think that there are different classes of burgers so it’s like comparing apples to oranges. BUT, I will reiterate howDAMN GOOD it is. It even made me forget about the fries, now that’s serious…

Pretty much cooked rare with caramelized onions. Melts in your mouth.

Roasted Bone Marrow with shallot confit (this delightful sauce completes this dish)
