One of Many Childhood Memories: 25¢ Dumplings

Growing up in Bayside, Queens, hanging out in Flushing, and eating authentic chinese food. Life was much simpler in your adolescent years. One thing I enjoy reminiscing is the 25 cent fried dumplings.
The story about this place is that it started as 2 street carts who sold dumplings on the opposite sides of the same street. They realized that competing with each other wouldn’t do any good, instead, they would collaborate to open up this hole in the wall. And boy, it worked out advantageously for business. Every now and then, I’d have major cravings and will go get some. It works out perfectly if I’m meeting friends for dinner in Queens. I’d pick up some fried dumplings to satisfy the crave. And it’s the perfect serving size for any pre-lunch/dinner plans.

Price today is 4 for $1.25.

I’ve yet to find a better soy vinaigrette sauce as good as theirs. The sriracha (hot sauce) you can get in most dumpling shops.
Location: 41st Ave between Main Street & College Point (in between Monster KTV & the municipal parking lot)
